Joseph (Sefi) Hanein has been appointed as the Administrative Director of Schneider Children's, replacing Adi Reinzilber, who served in the role for the past four years
Date: 16.02.25 | Update: 19.02.25
Sefi (49), a resident of Kfar Saba and a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the IDF, holds two undergraduate degrees in Statistics and Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He has been with Clalit since 2011 in various positions and joins Schneider Children's after four years as Chairman of the Tenders Committee - Procurement, Computing, and Pharmaceuticals at Clalit's headquarters.

Sefi stated: "I would like to express my gratitude for this great opportunity and privilege. I believe that in our work at the hospital, we must place the health and safety of our patients at the center of everything we do. To ensure optimal care, the patient experience must be enriched with empathy and a patient-centered approach. This is precisely where the entire administrative infrastructure plays a crucial role. I firmly believe that success in healthcare also depends on our employees - we must prioritize their well-being, sense of belonging, and engagement in our mission while fostering a supportive and progressive work environment. Collaboration among professional teams, different departments, and external organizations is critical for developing innovative solutions and continuously improving services. Only in this way can we achieve the best possible outcomes, addressing all the essential aspects required at Schneider Children's.. By adhering to these principles, I am confident that I can contribute to leading the hospital to further achievements."

Dr. Efrat Bron-Harlev, CEO of Schneider Children's Medical Center, stated: "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Sefi on his new and challenging role. I am certain that his professionalism, character, and extensive experience within Clalit and beyond will contribute to his success, which is also our success.

I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to Adi Reinzilber, who has been my right hand for the past four years, overseeing the hospital's operations across multiple domains - administration, logistics, facilities management, security, and more. Adi has been an integral part of Schneider Children's DNA, shaping the hospital's character in many ways, always striving for excellence and going 'above and beyond.' She played a pivotal role in the completion and opening of Schneider Children's Glass Building and was a key partner in numerous major projects, including the operation of the hospital during times of war and the establishment of the Department of Returnees at Schneider Children's. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment, which were evident in everything you did. We wish you great success in all your future endeavors."
