Clinical and Academic Interests
Dr. Faitelson is a senior physician in the Kipper Institute of Allergy and Immunology at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel.
Dr. Faitelson received his medical degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and completed Pediatrics residency training at Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot, Israel. Subsequently, he relocated to The Hospital for Sick Children (Sickids) at Toronto, Canada, where he completed Allergy and Immunology Fellowship training. In 2017, he joined the Kipper Institute of Allergy and Immunology at Schneider Children’s Medical Center and serves as an attending physician.
Dr. Faitelson's main clinical and research interests include childhood food allergy and drug allergy. He investigates the contribution of early life exposure to baked foods in children with food allergies and the role of diagnostic tests for drug allergy in children.
Dr. Faitelson is a member of the European Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
In addition to his work as an allergist, Dr. Faitelson works as a pediatrician and has a large and thriving clinic in the community.
