New Appointment: Galit Asher, RN, MA

Galit Asher, married and a mother of three from Hod Hasharon, graduated with an MA in Nursing Management. During her studies and after, she worked at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva. She joined Schneider Children’s in 2004, and became head nurse in the Oncology Clinic in 2012. She serves as a lecturer in Pediatric Endocrinology in the School of Nursing for BA students, and academic career changes. Galit also lectures at Ariel University for BA students and in the nursing school at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

Nurit Baruch, Director of the Nursing Division at Schneider Children’s, said that “we are blessed with wonderful and dedicated nurses at Schneider Children’s. Galit was appointed head of nursing in Pediatrics B due to her many skills, rich experience and fruitful efforts. The management of the hospital and I congratulate Galit on her position and wish her the best of success in her new role.”
