New Appointment: Dr. Osnat Konen Cohen

Dr. Konen Cohen, a resident of Tel Aviv, is married and a mother of 3 children. She has been employed by Clalit Health Services for the past 23 years and at Schneider Children’s for the last 13 years. In her previous position, Dr. Konen Cohen served as the Director of the MRI and prior to that as a senior physician in the Institute of Imaging. Dr. Konen Cohen is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, completed her specialization in pediatrics at the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, and her subspecialization in pediatric imaging and neuroradiology at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada.

The Institute of Imaging at Schneider Children’s treats children for a range of medical conditions, who are referred from all over the country. The team of physicians and technicians specialize in studies and the special needs of infants, children and adolescents. The Institute conducts MRI, CT, fluoroscopy and standard x-ray studies utilizing the most advanced equipment that accords quality and precise images with the least exposure to radiation.
