The Pulmonology Institute at Schneider Children’s is the largest pediatric center of its kind in the country, and treats approximately 6,000 children and adolescents each year. Institute staff treats the full range of lung diseases and respiratory disorders, from all levels of asthma to debilitating and complex conditions such as cystic fibrosis (CF) and muscular dystrophy, while underscoring the special needs of the young patients.

Pediatric Asthma Forum
Kathy and Lee Graub Cystic Fibrosis Center
The highly experienced multidisciplinary team in the CF center treats about 150 patients, providing support and guidance in the regimen of all-encompassing care as accepted in leading institutes in the world: physical therapy, intensive medication, 6-8 inhalations daily and a special calorie-rich diet. Internationally recognized, the medical team participates in leading research in Israel and abroad.

The clinic treats children with neuromuscular diseases. The multidisciplinary team includes a pulmonologist, neurologist, nurses, nutritionist, and physiotherapist. Other consultants join the team as needed: orthopedist, cardiologist, endocrinologist and gastroenterologist.
