Schneider Children's Awarded Clalit's 2014 Prize for Excellence

Schneider Children’s Medical Center was awarded Clalit Health Service’s prestigious 2014 Prize for Hospital Excellence in a gala ceremony that took place on Monday, April 20, 2015 in the presence of top hospital and Clalit officials. This was the third consecutive year that Schneider Children’s received the award.

Presenting the prize was Clalit CEO, Eli Depes, who emphasized in his remarks that Schneider Children’s is worthy of the prize for many reasons: medical quality, efficiency, outstanding operation and image. He was joined by Dr. Michael Scherf, Deputy CEO of Clalit and Head of its Hospital Division, and Michael Oren, Deputy CEO of Clalit and Head of the Community Division.

In accepting the prize together with members of the hospital’s administration, Prof. Joseph Press, Director of Schneider Children’s, remarked that “this is the third consecutive year that the Prize for Hospital Excellence has been awarded to Schneider Children’s and recognizes the professional and dedicated endeavors of all our employees. Schneider Children’s is the leading pediatric institution in Israel and one of the best children’s hospitals in the world, not only due to its impressive and successful medical achievements, but also due to our staff’s humanity and compassion. The members of management and myself are proud, acknowledge and salute the teams at Schneider for their untiring efforts in treating sick children. We will continue to advance the hospital’s vision and lead pediatric care in Israel.”
