Nine days after they arrived from Nepal, two premature infants were discharged from Schneider Children’s Medical Center on Monday, May 7, 2015. The two sets of parents were very emotional when they said their farewells to the staff.

Nine days after they arrived from Nepal, two premature infants were discharged from Schneider Children’s Medical Center on Monday, May 7, 2015. The two sets of parents were very emotional when they said their farewells to the staff.
Following the disastrous earthquake in Nepal, many Israelis were flown back to Israel. Among them were two small premature infants, one born at 32 weeks and the other at 34 weeks. When the plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport, Dr. Tami Laron-Kennet, senior physician in the Neonatal Department at Schneider Children’s was on hand with medical equipment to receive them and accompany them in an ambulance to the hospital.
